Samsung is working hard with it's smart phones to capture the market, Samsung continues this effort by launching Samsung Galaxy S Plus. Galaxy S Plus is almost the same as Galaxy S but it comes with a faster processor with a speed of 1.4 GHz. Samsung's bespoke Hummingbird chipset has been swapped out for Qualcomm MSM8255T Snapdragon. The "T" stands for faster version of the vanilla MSM8255 chipset found in a good deal of Android phones.
With a clock speed of 1.4GHz, it could be up to 40% faster. We'll see how they measure up though, as they have slightly different architectures.

Another difference between Galaxy S and Galaxy S Plus is that Adreno 205 graphics are packed with Qualcomm's chipset instead of  PowerVR SGX540 in the original Galaxy S. Graphics performance is also different, it's expected may be just a very little difference but it will be there. Then the new battery can hold up to 10% of extra juice, for a total of 1650 mAh. Other than that however, you can't tell the Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S Plus apart - not even with a caliper and scales. Let's have a look at the Adventages, Disadventages and Key Features of Samsung Galaxy S Plus:

Adventages/Key features

  • Quad-band GSM and tri-band 3G support

Well Galaxy S made it's place well in the market but it's being dominated by Galaxy S II and in the presence of these phones it's hard for Galaxy S Plus to make a big splash.
