Finally Motorola Droid 3 has been rooted officially, which goes to say in layman’s parlance that one is able to access developer files which were previously off-limits, allowing custom code to tweak the operating system in ways that was not possible before – needless to say this is a double-edged sword, but so far the homebrew community have delivered far more positives than negatives. Rooting a device could prove to be rather complicated at times, where the original method of going about it was relatively easy although you will still need to have ADB set up.

How about making things even easier – even as easy as clicking a single button? That’s what this latest piece of software does, although it will work only on Windows-powered machines while running on all Motorola phones which have Android 2.3 Gingerbread running in the background. As usual, just make sure you have a backup of all your data before you attempt a rooting process. Bear in mind that Motorola will not be responsible if anything goes wrong with your tinkering.
